Should we laugh or cry? Malaysian Minister for Infocomm & Culture (by the way, what has Infocomm got to do with Culture anyway?) recently commented that social media platforms such as Facebook & Twitter are Western media hence not necessarily suitable for Malaysian culture.
Obviously the ageing Minister has his head stuck somewhere and can't keep up with the times. Or perhaps it's simply because politicians are unable to control new media technology without appearing draconian. Keep trying, Mr Minister!
